Sharon is a self-taught photographer, producing both color and black and white images. Showing in several Massachusetts juried museum and gallery shows, she enjoys sharing her work with others.
She seeks to obscure the line between real and abstract, challenging the viewer’s perception of the world around us. She finds inspiration in the forces of nature, particularly the eternally changing New England seasons. When she picks up a camera, she strives to escape everyday blindness, exposing what seems commonplace and making it extraordinary.
“Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.”
― Pablo Picasso
